Institute of Banking Personnel has also conducting IBPS clerk exam every year. Lakhs of people are applying for this post. Many public sector banks, financial institutes, insurance companies participate here to recruit clerks for their concerns. As per the IBPS calendar, IBPS clerk 2018 notification is released. It is also conducted in two phases say Prelims and mains.

IBPS clerk 2018 notification original notification is expected to be released in the month of September 2018. This exam will be a golden opportunity to the candidates those who fail to appear for other bank exams.

The total vacancies and other relevant details will be released in IBPS clerk 2018 notification officially. However, based on the 2017 notification, the IBPS clerk 2018 is expected to be more than 7000.

You can choose the exam centre as you prefer while filling the online application form. However, the place will be determined based on the availability. IBPS will not be the cause for any grievance for change of centre.

In IBPS Clerk candidates require to qualify in both prelims and mains to get posted in any bank sectors. In this exam no interview will be conducted. Hence, 100% weightage will be given to the main exams result.

IBPS clerk CWE is an online exam. Both prelims and mains will be conducted online. There are totally three section in the prelims and the candidates must clear all the sectional cut offs to enter in the main exam. The question paper should be answered within one hour for 100 marks. Passing mark is decided by IBPS and it may change every year depends on the difficulty level of the exam.

IBPS clerk Mains Pattern:

In 2017 IBPS Clerk major changes have been observed in the exam pattern. The number of questions and total duration in the 2017 exam has been revised. As per the latest IBPS update, IBPS clerk Main Exams will have 190 questions which need to be completed within 160 minutes time duration.

Till last year Reasoning and computer aptitude were conducted separately. But, from 2018 onwards the two sections are combined and will have 50 questions that need to be completed within 45 minutes. Both prelims and mains will be conducted bilingually, i.e. both the papers will be available in both Hindi and English.

Every wrong answer carries 0.25 negative marking. Unanswered questions will not carry any negative marking.

In the selection process marks obtained in the Phase – I preliminary will not be considered. Candidates who obtained expected marks in Phase – II will be eligible for final merit. Candidates who are in top merit rank in each category will be finally selected.
